AXA extends payment deadline and coverage for COVID-19

AXA Philippines, one of the country’s leading insurance providers, is extending deadlines for payments due within the enhanced community quarantine and expanding insurance coverage related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). “This is our way of helping our customers cope with the current situation. While on quarantine, we want them to stay in their homes, be healthy, and stay safe as much as possible,” says Rahul Hora, AXA Philippines president and chief executive officer. AXA is extending its payment grace period from 31 days to 60 days for policies due from February 15 to April 30, 2020 for all health and life insurance policies (individual and group). In addition, AXA Global Health Access policies will cover treatments and hospitalizations related to COVID-19 until June 30, 2020 (subject to the customer’s plan coverage). Solane has announced that it will carry on with its operations and address their customers’ LPG needs amid the directives of the government to put the entire Luzon under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) to prevent the spread of the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The country’s leading LPG brand said that its Hatid-Bahay Hotline is available during the ECQ period. From 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, Metro Manila residents can call 8887-5555 to request an LPG delivery to their homes. Aside from the Hatid-Bahay Hotline, other contact numbers per city have been posted on Solane’s Facebook page. Solane has also arranged more options to order Solane LPG. SM Supermalls to waive tenant rentals nationwide

The SM Supermalls announced it will waive rentals to all tenants nationwide from March 16 to April 14, 2020. Pfizer and BioNTech to Co-Develop Potential COVID-19 Vaccine

AXA Philippines supports cancer prevention program

More than 140,000 new cancer cases and more than 80,000 cancer deaths are recorded in the Philippines every year, according to the 2018 Global Data on Cancer. In light of these alarming numbers, AXA Philippines, one of the country’s leading insurance providers, is working with the Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) to increase cancer awareness and preparedness among Filipinos. Solane conducts relief operations in Batangas.

 Solane, the country’s leading LPG solutions provider, recently set up a cooking station at Batangas Sports Complex to provide freshly cooked meals to more than 3,000 evacuees who were displaced during the Taal eruption.
