‘Responsibility beyond beauty’
Top personalities and guests from the
private and public sectors attended the launch of Ever Bilena’s zero-waste
management campaign “Responsibility beyond beauty”. A highlight of the event was
the unveiling of the iECO-800, a smokeless, odorless, multi-layer pyrolysis
incinerator that burns almost all kinds of solid waste.
Ever Bilena president and chief
executive officer Dioceldo Sy welcomed the guests. Among them were Department
of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar and several Miss
Earth candidates who demonstrated how the iECO-800 worked by putting plastic
bags and tires inside the machine.
“From providing Filipinas with
high-quality, affordable make-up and beauty products, we’ve taken a step
towards helping preserve the beauty of our environment with this zero-waste
management program,” Sy said.
Also at the launch
