The collaboration seeks to generate quality jobs for Filipinos and help address the job skills mismatch. It strives to contribute to nation-building through activities including a series of on-ground job fairs at SM Malls nationwide and daily online job fairs via Jobstreet by SEEK’s online platform.

Succeeding job fairs will be rolled out nationwide—SM City San Jose Del Monte on May 16, SM City San Pedro Laguna on May 23, and SM City General Santos on May 30. More locations are to be announced soon. Meanwhile, candidates may also check out available jobs at jobstreet.com.ph/page/sm-job-fair.

The campaign offers opportunities across a diverse range of focus industries, each playing a vital role in the economic landscape of the Philippines including but not limited to Information Technology-Business Process Outsourcing (IT-BPO), healthcare, tourism, manufacturing, and construction. By focusing on these sectors, Trabaho Para sa Bayan: J.O.B.S aims to provide employment opportunities and support key sectors of the country’s economy.

Hirers in need of candidates can also participate in the hybrid career fairs by reaching out to the Private Sector Advisory Council, Jobstreet by SEEK, or SM Supermalls.

In addition to the on-ground and online job fairs, talents can access upskilling features at Trabaho Para sa Bayan: J.O.B.S’ Career Hub on Jobstreet by SEEK’s microsite. They can take advantage of bite-sized real-world career tips and advice from experts, as well as free resources and templates such as resumes and cover letters to help them seek better and land their next dream jobs.
