CIMB Bank Philippines wins Bronze Stevie® Award in 2026 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards

CIMB Bank Philippines, the most awarded digital-only commercial bank in the country,

was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Human Resources category,

earning the Award for Innovation in Talent Development & Upskilling in the 13th

annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

“At CIMB Bank PH, we intentionally bridge generations and experience through

performance-anchored programs that deliver measurable impact to our business and

meaningful value to the communities we serve,” said Annie Caw, Chief Human

Resources Officer at CIMB Bank PH. “We are unapologetic in developing the next

breed of leaders – not only by passing on hard-earned lessons, but by modeling

courageous vulnerability: creating safe spaces to fail, rise, and rebuild stronger. When

the time comes for today’s leaders to step aside, we will do so with confidence knowing

the next generation is ready to lead, serve, and pay it forward.”

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognize

innovation in the workplace in all 29 markets of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie

Awards are widely considered to be the world's premier business awards, conferring

recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards®

for 24 years.

This win honors CIMB Bank PH’s leadership programs, which are guided by the Bank’s

strategy to empower today’s leaders while building tomorrow's. Key programs include

the Leadership Acceleration Program and the Future Leaders Acceleration Program –

by-invitation initiatives delivered in partnership with the Asian Institute of Management,

one of the top graduate business schools in the country, and anchored on the Bank’s

EPICC values (Enabling Talent, Passion, Integrity and Accountability, Collaboration,

and Customer Centricity). These programs target high-performing, high potential talents

identified as future senior leaders.

Another key initiative is the Leadership Development Program, which builds capability

through a multi-phase design based on empathy, resilience, collaboration, and

execution. Sessions integrate live business cases, performance management, systems,

and innovation, ensuring that learning is practical and applied.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the winners will be celebrated

during a gala awards ceremony on Friday, 17 April in Macau. More than 1,000

nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific were considered this year. Gold,

Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of

more than 125 executives worldwide serving as judges from December through

February.
