Filinvest City opens Corporate Avenue Underpass





As part of its people-centric masterplan, Filinvest City now opens the Corporate Avenue Underpass to the public. The underpass provides Far Eastern University (FEU), Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM), and soon Bloc 10 pedestrians a safe and secure connection going to and from Festival Mall through the Festival Walk. It also connects residential properties along Parkway Avenue through Creekside Park going to and from the Festival Water Garden.

This new underpass is one of the infrastructure within Filinvest City that would further promote pedestrian mobility and walkability, making more key locations accessible to residents even without the use of vehicles, and providing a better walking experience with tall trees, green shrubs, lush ground covers, and wildlife from the creek.

The new Corporate Avenue Underpass is just one of the many purposeful initiatives of Filinvest City – with its planting strips, wide roads, walkways and well-connected pedestrian lanes, reflecting its dedication to promoting a green and sustainable way of living.

16 boys, 10 girls make it to National Training Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska, 797 join Regional Selection Camp

MANILA – 16 boys -- 9 from Metro Manila, 2 from Bacolod, 2 from Cavite, 1 from Rizal, 1 from Tarlac and 1 from Batangas -- emerged as the best of the Manila Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska held at the Philippine International Conventional Center (PICC) Forum Tent at the CCP Complex April 13. 10 girls – 6 from Metro Manila, 2 from Laguna, 1 from Cavite and 1 from Sorsogon -- will join the first-ever pool of Jr. WNBA aspirants who will compete in the inaugural Jr. WNBA tilt this year.
