"A Plastic Ocean" documentary screening

Last Monday, April 22, 2019  A free film screening of "A Plastic Ocean in partnership with SM Care, USA Embassy , Film Development Council of the Philippines, American Film Showcase  and SM Cinema Premier an advocate for greener programs shows a documentary screening of A Plastic Ocean which is a part of 2019 Green Film Festival.

The film was very informative and was an eye opener specially to those who loiter garbage specially the plastics the one time use only. There we can see that The Oceans are filled with plastics, bottles, tires and other garbage materials. The fish and other sea creatures got sick and eventually die of eating some of the plastics that are being scattered in the bottom of the sea.

As they conducted some of the studies made to fishes, they found out  that we humans who eat this affected fishes are contaminated with those particles which causes the bloodstream of the one who ate this plastics being affected as well and may cause harm to the one who eats them whether their co sea creatures or us the human beings.

This film was attended by multi schools including the Taguig National High School public and some private schools ,for them to be aware and eventually takes   part on making solutions on how to be more careful on every garbage disposals we have in our house and community as well. It will be shown on other SM branches like Batangas ect with students so that it will be instilled in their minds till they finish their schools and have their own work, career and businesses.
