2019-20 NBA REGULAR SEASON GAMES AVAILABLE ON FREE-TO-AIR TELEVISION IN THE PHILIPPINES




National Free-to-Air Channel CNN Philippines to Distribute Select NBA Games 
Beginning Nov. 16

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, Nov. 13, 2019 – The National Basketball Association (NBA) today announced that select NBA games will be available on national free-to-air channel CNN Philippines. 

Beginning Saturday Nov. 16, CNN Philippines will televise select games and feature highlights across their various news programs including Sports Desk and News Night.

“Weekends just got better with the return of live NBA games on national television through CNN Philippines,” said NBA Philippines Managing Director Carlo Singson.  “Filipino fans now have a choice of watching our games across a variety of platforms including television, computers and mobile devices via social media and NBA League Pass.”

Below is the schedule of NBA games broadcast on CNN Philippines in November.  The broadcast schedule for December will be made available at a later date.

NBA League Pass will deliver unrivalled access to NBA games and programming live and on-demand, while providing downloadable content, exclusive features and more.  Fans in the Philippines can subscribe to League Pass offerings including the annual package by visiting watch.nba.com and downloading the official NBA App on the App Store and Google Play.

Additionally, Globe, PLDT and Smart subscribers can bundle NBA League Pass offerings with their data services, which includes the League Pass, Team Choice and 3-Game Choice packages in monthly pricing options, and a weekly pricing offer for the League Pass package.  NBA League Pass offerings on Globe are available through its official store on Lazada and Shopee.

16 boys, 10 girls make it to National Training Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska, 797 join Regional Selection Camp

MANILA – 16 boys -- 9 from Metro Manila, 2 from Bacolod, 2 from Cavite, 1 from Rizal, 1 from Tarlac and 1 from Batangas -- emerged as the best of the Manila Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska held at the Philippine International Conventional Center (PICC) Forum Tent at the CCP Complex April 13. 10 girls – 6 from Metro Manila, 2 from Laguna, 1 from Cavite and 1 from Sorsogon -- will join the first-ever pool of Jr. WNBA aspirants who will compete in the inaugural Jr. WNBA tilt this year.
