In line with Marriott International’s award winning loyalty program, Marriott Rewards, Marriott Hotel Manila is doing its 3rd Max! Kids program this coming August 21, Sunday, at 3pm in The Hub. The activity will focus on the Go Explore pillar, which will involve an amazing race type of tour for the kids to give them a glimpse on how the hotel’s back office operates to cater brilliantly to loyal and new guests alike. Free to Marriott Rewards members checking-in with their kids at the hotel, the exclusive program aims to enrich the travel experiences of children through holistic activities that inspire and nurture.
Looking back, the first ever Max! Kids program that Marriott Manila did is a cooking class for kids lead by their chefs from pastry. This focused on the Stay Curious pillar, which culminated last March. The hotel’s second go on this quarterly activity revolved around Filipino Sports focusing on the Be Active pillar. Now on it’s third installment, Marriott Manila calls out to the young explorers to actively participate in the Go Explore Amazing Race – themed endeavor.
Making the race more worth the sweat, Marriott Hotel Manila prepared riddles and tasks for the young explorers to solve and finish during their stopovers in the hotel’s laundry room, guest room, pastry kitchen and At Your Service office. What’s more is that kids will get to enjoy hefty snacks such as pancit canton, ice cream, pastries and mini burgers after the race. Registered participants will get their Max! Kids kit, which contains a tumbler, all purpose bag and towel.
More to know about Max! Kids
Created for children ages 5 to 12 years old, “MAX!” is founded on four activity pillars: Be Active offers action-packed sessions, ranging from pool activities to dance lessons; Stay Curious encourages intellectual curiosity with activities such as cooking and arts-and-crafts; Go Explore will appeal to children’s sense of adventure; while Just Relax offers more tranquil pursuits.
“By introducing MAX!, Marriott Rewards aims to exceed the high expectations parents have when they choose a hotel for their family vacation,” said Anka Twum-Baah, Vice President, Customer Loyalty & Content, Asia Pacific at Marriott International. “Providing children with enriching experiences has a positive effect on their lives. We are launching MAX! with the aim of inspiring children to enjoy a range of memorable experiences that they can share with their family and friends.”
Marriott Rewards created MAX! in response to the changing nature of family travel in Asia for its most loyal guests, including the rise of multigenerational travel and parents’ desires to provide their children with learning experiences even when on vacation. Based on input from its current Members, Marriott Rewards developed this unique program that caters to these evolving demands and offers activities that are both educational and fun, nourishing children’s innate desire to learn and stay active.
