Bea Alonzo, Alden Richards lead the search for the next Century Tuna Superbods 2022
Held at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, the official venue partner for this year’s competition, the event provided the opportunity for Bea and Alden to share their inspiring stories related to this year’s Century Tuna Superbods “Stay strong to Love strong” campaign message.
Just like Bea, Alden also shares his excitement for this year’s competition. “Beyond the buff body and firm and flat abs, it’s truly awesome what we can achieve when we are physically and mentally strong. As we kick off this year’s Superbods competition, let the journey of our finalists be an inspiration to be strong for the people we love and value, especially at this time when we are all trying to move forward from the pandemic.”
Hosted by Sam YG and Gelli Victor, the event was attended by select media and partners of Century Tuna who were treated to a special Century Tuna menu prepared by an internationally acclaimed and first-ever Filipina executive chef in a five-star international branded hotel in the Philippines Chef Bettina Margaret Arguelles.
The partnership between Sofitel Philippine Plaza and Century Tuna is part of Sofitel’s holistic approach to promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle by providing its guests with an oasis that is within the Metro.
From the sumptuous menu, guests were awed as the finalists took to the stage to show off their fit and healthy bodies.

“As we are all recovering from the pandemic, we need inspiring stories that give us strength to move forward,” said Century Pacific Food Inc. (CPFI) VP and GM for Tuna Division Carlo Endaya. “We want this year’s Superbods competition to inspire and encourage everyone to pursue their health and fitness goals not just for themselves but for the people they love.”
