foodpanda celebrates delivery partners with Pau-tastic year-end party
foodpanda’s biggest and grandest party promises a fantastic day filled with stage and onsite games and activities, star-studded OPM performances, and exciting prizes and giveaways for their Ka-panda delivery riders, bikers, e-scooters, and walkers.
Three separate events will be held across the country, kicking off with an event in Davao on December 2, followed by Cebu on December 10, and capping off with a grand celebration party in Manila on December 17.
According to foodpanda Philippines operations director Patricia Jacinto, this is one of the ways that the company is celebrating its delivery partners. “Throughout the year, we have witnessed the hardwork and dedication of our delivery freelancers – delivering food, groceries and more to customers around the country. So, of course, they deserve a moment to get together and enjoy themselves with their fellow Ka-pandas.”
“Sa mga pinagdaanan sa nakaraang taon, parang ito yung magiging time namin para makapag-relax kasama yung ibang riders. Nagpapasalamat talaga ako bilang isang freelance foodpanda rider dahil bukod sa hawak namin ang oras namin sa pagkuha ng shift, gumamagawa rin si foodpanda ng paraan para sa na pwede kami magkasama-sama para mag-bonding at mag-enjoy,” shared Stephen Sigue, a foodpanda partner rider for 2 years.
Local artists and bands will perform at the
concert show, including foodpanda’s rider ambassadors, SPC Dancing Riders.
Aside from the performers, the event will not be complete without its partners
and sponsors, such as narzo, SM Lanang Premier, Caltex, Unioil, Limitless by
Phoenix, Motortrade Mindanao, Selecta, POSH, and CCLEX.
“narzo has been one of the trusted partners
of hardworking Filipinos, particularly Ka-pandas, providing good and reliable
technology for the smartphones they can use while on the road. We’re thrilled
to be part of this big event for their delivery partners and give away mobile
phones and other accessories they can rely on while working daily,” said Elaine
Dela Cruz, narzo PH marketing representative.
Exclusive foodpanda merchandise, such as
belt bags, t-shirts, jackets, raincoats, gears, and more, will also be given
away at the event. In addition, at the raffle, lucky Ka-pandas will have a
chance to win gas prize vouchers, appliances, cash prizes, motorcycles, and
pandaBiz startup capital worth Php 100,00.
“These prizes are also helpful and beneficial to aid them in their line of freelance work,” said Jacinto. “pandaBiz, for instance, will provide an additional source of livelihood for our delivery partners by involving their family members as beneficiaries and helping them start their businesses.”
Ka-panda Livi Cueme, a delivery freelancer for a year now, is thankful to foodpanda for all the support provided to them. “Yung mga fuel discounts, added incentives sa quests at iba pang assistance ay malaking tulong talaga sa amin na pandagdag sa kita sa araw -araw. Madalas rin kami makatanggap ng mga giveaways at freebies galing kay foodpanda kaya dun kami excited kasi pwede rin naman magamit sa byahe habang naka-duty.”
“We are always grateful to our delivery
partners as they have been important in our success and growth, along with our
ecosystem of partners and customers. We always look for ways to make them feel
valued and appreciated by providing additional earnings opportunities, special
incentives, and other support, or simply letting them feel the joy and
happiness of a relaxed day,” added Jacinto.
foodpanda also said that aside from the programs
and initiatives they already have for their delivery partners, they will
continue to develop more programs and initiatives to assist and give Ka-pandas
the support they need and deserve.
