Spooky Treats and Tricks at Marriott Manila







Witches, wizards and ghosts have come alive and are on their way to haunt Marriott Manila this Halloween. The hotel doors are now widely open to everyone who is up for freakin’ great treats and tricks! Our pastry enchanters, led by Chef Fil Afable, have come up with both eerie and charming goodies to fill in your pumpkin bags. Creeping out from the oven are crisp finger cookies of Count Dracula and Incredible Hulk for Php 60/2 pieces. 



Get under the spell of hair-raising confections like the Spider Web Cake, a cheesecake-base covered by luscious chocolate ganache for Php1,800; Ghost Cupcakes, dark chocolate cupcake topped by fluffy marshmallows on butter cream frosting, that can be purchased per piece for Php 190; and bury your sweet cravings while gorging on Ghoul’s Graveyard Brownies adorned with dark chocolate chips and vanilla shortbread headstones for Php 1,600.


 Lollicakes are given its scare make-over, such as vanilla flavored Mummy Lollicake and ube cake with purple yam frosting Bat Lollicake – both for Php 190 per piece. You can’t also miss the rare Pumpkin Icecream made of gingersnap cookie crust filled with creamy pumpkin mix and swirls of raisins, for Php 140/2 scoops. 16 boys, 10 girls make it to National Training Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska, 797 join Regional Selection Camp

MANILA – 16 boys -- 9 from Metro Manila, 2 from Bacolod, 2 from Cavite, 1 from Rizal, 1 from Tarlac and 1 from Batangas -- emerged as the best of the Manila Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska held at the Philippine International Conventional Center (PICC) Forum Tent at the CCP Complex April 13. 10 girls – 6 from Metro Manila, 2 from Laguna, 1 from Cavite and 1 from Sorsogon -- will join the first-ever pool of Jr. WNBA aspirants who will compete in the inaugural Jr. WNBA tilt this year.
