Honda Once Again Donates Php 1Million to Victims of Earthquake in Bohol

From left: Ms. Tina Monzon-Palma (Sagip Kapamilya Program Director); Mr. Yasushi Okamoto (Honda Foundation, Inc. or “HFI” President & CEO); Mr. Atsushi Higashino (HFI Adviser); Mr. Gil Claridad (HFI Executive Director) was handed a Certificate of Appreciation for the donation of Php1Million to victims of Habagat caused by Typhoon “Haikui” last August 16, 2012. Honda Motor Co., Ltd., the parent Company of the Global Honda Group also donated Yen1Million for the same purpose.
Honda Group of Companies in the Philippines has been consistent in helping us  in any tragedy or calamities  our nation may have  partnering with Gawad Kalinga of ABS CBN. Their motives of helping us as a nation has been so frequent from typhoon Habagat  and Typhoon Pablo last 2012 .

Today, The Honda Group of Companies in the Philippines has expressed its sincerest sympathy to the victims of the earthquake that has stricken the island province of Bohol in Central Visayas Region. Through Honda Foundation, Inc., Honda Motor Co., Ltd.’s (Japan) local subsidiaries will provide (1) million pesos to help assist in the recovery and relief efforts of the province.
The Honda Group of Companies in the Philippines, composed of Honda Philippines, Inc. (Manufacturer and distributor Honda motorcycles and power products), Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (Manufactuer and distributor of Honda automobiles), Honda Parts Manufacturing Corp. (Manufacturer of automobile component parts) and Honda Trading Philippines Ecozone Corp. (Trading company), is one with the nation in continuously praying for the immediate healing of the  victims and their families and the recovery of the affected areas.

16 boys, 10 girls make it to National Training Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska, 797 join Regional Selection Camp

MANILA – 16 boys -- 9 from Metro Manila, 2 from Bacolod, 2 from Cavite, 1 from Rizal, 1 from Tarlac and 1 from Batangas -- emerged as the best of the Manila Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska held at the Philippine International Conventional Center (PICC) Forum Tent at the CCP Complex April 13. 10 girls – 6 from Metro Manila, 2 from Laguna, 1 from Cavite and 1 from Sorsogon -- will join the first-ever pool of Jr. WNBA aspirants who will compete in the inaugural Jr. WNBA tilt this year.
