Greenhills Cinemas treats Moviegoers to Smartphones, Tablets and TV sets in Movie Madness Promo

Watching movies is good for you. Researchers from New York University found that movie watching helps perk up the mind, lessen stress and produce an overall sense of wellbeing.

From August 1, 2014 to February 28, 2015 Greenhills Cinemas is treating movie buffs to a level-up movie experience called Movie Madness. Every cinema ticket bought at Theater Mall Cinemas 1 and 2, Promenade Cinemas 3, 4 and 5 or at the new Promenade Cinemas 6, 7 and 8 in Dolby Atmos entitles moviegoers to one raffle stub per ticket that will win them exciting prizes every month.

For August one lucky cinema ticket holder will take home a Samsung Galaxy Duo S2 android phone while another lucky moviegoer will win a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in September. October and November raffle draw winners meanwhile will win Samsung Galaxy Note 8 android tablets that are virtual travel companions/secretaries. December, January and February winners will each receive Samsung S1 51” Plasma TV sets.

“We Filipinos are such big movie fans. And movies are still the most affordable and most accessible form of entertainment for the whole family. Since we are celebrating our anniversary this August, we decided to share some festive vibes with our moviegoers and thank them for their loyal patronage. This Movie Madness promo is our way of making movie fans love the movies more,” said Precy M. Florentino, president of the Music Museum Group that runs Greenhills Cinemas.

Draw dates for Movie Madness winners will be August 31, September 28, October 26, November 30, December 28, February 1 and March 2. Lucky winners will be notified about their prizes that may be claimed at the Admin Office at the third floor of Greenhills Promenade on the corresponding month.

The more times you watch a movie, the better the chances of winning cool prizes. And the good news is, moviegoers can win more than once!

MANILA – 16 boys -- 9 from Metro Manila, 2 from Bacolod, 2 from Cavite, 1 from Rizal, 1 from Tarlac and 1 from Batangas -- emerged as the best of the Manila Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska held at the Philippine International Conventional Center (PICC) Forum Tent at the CCP Complex April 13. 10 girls – 6 from Metro Manila, 2 from Laguna, 1 from Cavite and 1 from Sorsogon -- will join the first-ever pool of Jr. WNBA aspirants who will compete in the inaugural Jr. WNBA tilt this year.
