Last Tuesday ,September 30, 2014, EMC conduct the Annual EMC Forum now entitled ’REDIFINE IT’, And along  with it was the Press Conference together with the press and On line tech bloggers to announced and informed us how the Philippine businesses gears up and makes corporate enterprises flows along with the fast phase of technological breakthroughs that we are experiencing this 21st Century.

EMC Corporation released the findings of a survey that asked IT decision makers in Philippines for their perspective on IT’s role as an enabler of business change during the shift towards the mega trends of cloud, mobile, social and Big Data. The impact of the mega trends has fundamentally changed the expectations of consumers and end-users who increasingly want to interact online, anytime and from anywhere, making IT more strategically important than ever before. IT has been focused on creating efficiencies and driving down cost. But the EMC Forum Survey reveals that in the Philippines, IT now is viewed as a strategic enabler  to grow business and better connect with customers. The top three areas where these trends will have an impact are in , Improving customer experience (51%), Management of missions- critical business operations (41%), and Building new products and services (38%).

Organizations are increasingly moving to the cloud, with 67% now agreeing that combining public and private cloud can improve security and agility . However, barriers will need to be overcome to achieve full potential.

16 boys, 10 girls make it to National Training Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska, 797 join Regional Selection Camp

MANILA – 16 boys -- 9 from Metro Manila, 2 from Bacolod, 2 from Cavite, 1 from Rizal, 1 from Tarlac and 1 from Batangas -- emerged as the best of the Manila Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2014 presented by Alaska held at the Philippine International Conventional Center (PICC) Forum Tent at the CCP Complex April 13. 10 girls – 6 from Metro Manila, 2 from Laguna, 1 from Cavite and 1 from Sorsogon -- will join the first-ever pool of Jr. WNBA aspirants who will compete in the inaugural Jr. WNBA tilt this year.
